Warm apple pie with coffee –  delicious.  I always get a cozy feeling when the sweet aroma of apple and cinnamon cascades around the room when pie is baking in the oven.  When it’s finally done, I just can’t wait to sink my mouth into this delectable dessert.  As the buttery crust satisfies my craving for something rich and savoury, I am then hit with sweet softness from the baked apples.  Sour or tart apples can be alleviated with ice cream on top of pie.  Be sure, however, to eat slowly and let the pie linger in your mouth to truly enjoy the dessert.  With any sweet treat, chewing slowly gives you the opportunity to really satisfy cravings.
