The best rooms, in my opinion, have a balanced mix of glass or crystals, wood or stone, and a pop of colour.  A touch of something sparkly like glass creates a clean, sophisticated feel that shows the world that you enjoy the delicate things in life.  Wood or stone elements in a room creates a natural setting that invites nature inside and adds warmth to any space.  Colour brings it all together by showing your personality.  This can be achieved through wall paint, fabrics and knick knacks that you display in your home.  Be careful, however, not to overdo it with collectibles though, as too much of a good thing may create a sense of clutter.  So, try adding something sparkly, woody and colourful to your home.
